Spectacle Lenses

We are delighted to be partnered with ZEISS; one of the most established and well-known lens manufacturers in the world.

ZEISS are credited as being the world's leading manufacturer of precision optics and therefore we are confident that you will be impressed with their quality and durability.

We have been delighted with the quality and patient feedback for the ZEISS products and therefore we do use these as our primary lens choice.

However, as an Independent Opticians we are able to source lenses from a wide range of manufacturers and therefore if we feel another lens may be more suitable we are able to tailor our lens choice to the individual needs of each patient.

UV Protection.

ZEISS are the only lens manufacturer that include full UV protection in their clear lenses, therefore all ZEISS branded products come as standard with full UV protection.

In recent years we have come to better understand the effects of UV on the eye and therefore we welcome this addition of UV protection in all spectacles, not just tinted lenses.

(*As a rule; we do not currently use ZEISS branded lenses in our standard uncoated single vision lenses, but we are happy to offer an upgrade to these ZEISS lenses for any and all patients including children.)
